October Monthly Minute: Fuel Germantown

The Philadelphia Project offers a virtual learning site for Philadelphia students each day! Through our partnership with Atonement Church in Germantown, we launched an after-school program in 2018. This year, it has become a virtual learning center for students and a lifeline for families. One mom felt that her education level wasn’t enough to help her children learn. Now her kids are getting individualized attention from our staff. Kids have an opportunity to engage with other students in their class while in a safe environment. The students are genuinely thriving! While we are excited to become an after-school program again when Philadelphia schools reopen, we are thankful for the opportunity to serve these students and their current needs.
